We asked our Head of Drama, Jo Horsburgh for her feelings on this season being the final season of Rescue. Her comments are below. We've loved the ride too, Jo! And can't wait for the remaining episodes!
We are all very proud of Rescue Special Ops. It’s a terrific drama with beautifully drawn characters and energetic storylines. This current series is proving to be one of the best yet, with plenty of mystery, action and romance. It’s always difficult and a little sad when a series is coming to a natural end. Rather than risk the quality of story and scripts falling away it was felt the best scenario is to leave on a high. This is the decision that Nine and the producers felt was the right way to go with Rescue. A huge thank you to all the fans who have loved and supported Rescue over the years and stay tuned as the current series has plenty of great stories and character surprises still to come. I know you’re going to love some of the outcomes.
