Alstonville Primary school has decided it WON'T be having a year 3/4 School Camp this year, because it doesn't meet the "Learning Outcome".....I strongly DISAGREE this decision and I'm sure I'm not alone.........
So PLEASE SIGN this petition and get this School Rule over ruled.
WHAT SCHOOL CAMPS GIVE OUR KIDS............

It proven that children develop more social skills that help them make new friends;
Children grow more independent and have more leadership skills;
Children become more adventurous and willing to try new things;
Difference in achievement between poor/middleclass children based in inequality that children experience outside of school hours;
Children appear to score higher on standardized tests than those who did not attend camp;
Campers tend to demonstrate higher levels of emotional and social development and leadership skills;
Children are plugged into some kind of electronic medium an average of 5.5 hours a day.
