Lewis County commissioners plan to cut funding for the five Lewis County Senior Centers when they approve their budget Monday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m. It costs less than $500,000 a year in a county budget of more than $36 million.
Meetings trying to justify the cuts are planned at 12:30 p.m. at the centers:
Tuesday, Nov. 29, Olequa Senior Center, Winlock
Wednesday, Nov. 30, Toledo Senior Center
Monday, Dec. 5, Twin Cities Senior Center, Chehalis
Monday, Dec. 19, Pe Ell United Methodis Church
Wednesday, Dec. 21, Morton Senior Center
Wednesday, Dec. 28, Packwood Senior Center
We, the undersigned, respectfully ask Lewis County commissioners to find
another place to cut the county’s 2017 budget.
