The school system decided to close our local school and now the 100 year old historic building sits unoccupied and is being vandalized. We would like for the Madison County Parks and Recreation to take over responsibility of the school and create it into a Community Center and Park for Beech Bluff Tennessee, we don't feel that county officials who do not live in our little town should be able to make decisions for what happens with the school which means so much to so many of us. Please sign the petition to help us save our Historic School Building by it becoming a local Community Center and Park funded and run by Madison County Parks and Recreation.
We the undersigned request that the Beech Bluff Elementary School be created into a local Community Center and Park with the Madison County Parks and Recreation to be fully funding with available funds through Madison County.
