Jamaica is known for its farming, fishing, tourism and manufacturing. What has happened to our environment in the past 30 years will have an impact
on this country's future. Jamaica and its people have helped inspire others to perform outstanding achievements, particularly in sport and promoting the best country in the world to do business. However, it has been one of the
slowest performers in the clean up and sustainable environment areas. There is potential for disaster if the waste of plastic and is not stopped from entering our
waterways, beaches and reserves.
STOP THE USE OF PLASTIC BAGS AND foam and OTHER SINGLE USE PLASTIC PRODUCTS NOW - as soon as possible to help sustain Jamaica again. This
truly magnificent country has surplus evidence of waste and pollution that is creating significant impacts on our environment. We, the people are responsible,
we are contributing to this growing problem. We need to educate and make changes now to ensure that Jamaica and the Caribbean sea is clean again, sustainable and proud to show the world our country. There is no benefit to deny that there is an environmental problem, no benefit - no gain - no change. Please, everybody, you can help, you can make a difference, help to bring awareness to clean up our country. Promote awareness - change habits - enjoy our environment again.
