Oakville residents wish to maintain their quiet darkness when the sun sets by stopping plans to install sports field lights in established neighbourhoods.
The Halton Catholic District School Board ( HCDSB ) wants to install SPORTS FIELD MEGA-LIGHTS at St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary Schools. This precedent could result in other schools in Oakville doing the same.
We ask that the town PROTECT OUR RIGHT to QUIET DARKNESS when the sun sets and not allow field mega-lights in established areas.

We the undersigned residents of Oakville ask that you protect our right to quiet darkness when the sun sets by disallowing schools from installing mega-lights in sports fields that will disrupt our established Livable Oakville neighbourhoods.
