Save Metro South Hospital

It was recently announced by Quorum Health Corporation that they would be closing Metro South Hospital in Blue Island if a new owner could not be found. We Health Care providers are concerned that the Communities relying on the facility will be negatively impacted by this decision. The alternative hospitals in the area are lifesaving minutes away from the impacted region. Metro South provides emergency treatment and stabilization in critical situations such as Stroke, Septicemia and Myocardial Events. They provide excellent Neonatal and Obstetric services to low income and no income patients. The residents in surrounding areas, we believe, will suffer as a result of this decision. Please help us to continue to serve the Community and Patients that we love.
