Save KKR ex- captain and Indian Cricket icon, Sourav Ganguly from Malicious Motive of KKR Coach John Buchanan and team owner SRK

Indian cricket lovers, Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) team supporters, Sourav Ganguly fans across globe are greatly shocked, flabbergasted and humiliated by the very recent sweeping ‘four formula’ statement on captaincy issue of Kolkata Knight Riders’ team, expounded by none other but Mr. John Buchanan, the current Director of cricket operation of KKR and later his and KKR owner, Shah Rukh Khan’s (SRK) recent somersault by replacing existing captain Sourav Ganguly with new captain Brendon McCullum at IPL 2 in South Africa.

In recent joint press conference at Eden Garden, Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) Director of cricket operation, John Buchanan expressed his four captain theory where Sourav Ganguly, KKR captain 2008, would become just one of the four captains! Buchanan wants to implement this in the real match scenario where each being assigned a special area- batting, bowling, fielding, wicket keeping focusing on in a match situation like T 20 cricket where action is frenetic and almost instantaneous.
Buchanan baked by SRK, was first talking about four captain theory when their whole intention always was one captain to replace Sourav Ganguly. In fact they started talking about captain theory only after it was announced that the matches would be held in South Africa. Had it been in India both Buchanan and SRK would have kept their mouth shut.

Millions of cricket fan across globe perceive this theory and recent actions of SRK and Buchanan as a conspiracy against Sourav Ganguly and the crux of this controversy is - power struggle where Buchanan and SRK wants to hog more lime light which is bit difficult if Sourav remains captain at his own backyard Kolkata. Cricket lovers also apprehend that without the morale support of a section of KKR owner and management, Buchanan may not have attempted such a ludicrous and obnoxious thing which will eventually turn cricket into a circus with some cheap entertainment value.

We Indian cricket lovers see this theory of John Buchanan and support to that by SRK, as a deliberate malicious ploy and attempt towards statistically the most Successful Indian cricket captain and mentor of ‘Team India’ concept, an illustrious international cricket icon and captain of KKR 2008--Cricketer Sourav Ganguly.

Well known for his fiery brand of cricket captaincy, Sourav Ganguly had performed multiple duties at international level cricket with great finesse and élan and is profoundly revered for his matured instinctive style of stewardship on field.

The conscious comments at press conference by Mr. John Buchanan to media were without any provocation from any sector of Cricket or from the person on whom the immediate impact was thrust upon. We Indians experience this new theory of captaincy and subsequent actions as a calculated game plan of SRK and Mr. John Buchanan, where he wanted to help a section of KKR management as part of some future strategy by maligning profoundly the image of the game and cricketer Sourav Ganguly in public by dethroning Sourav and leaving him battered and bruises in his own backyard.

We Indians, KKR supporters and Sourav Ganguly fans are extremely annoyed and upset over SRK - Buchanan's ridiculous gesture towards the game and Sourav per se on KKR captaincy issue and want to bring the whole issue to the notice of Kolkata Knight Riders’ management and BCCI, the IPL organizing body and parent body of Indian cricket.

Especially SRK has been absolutely deceitful to dada. He has used both dada and the people of kolkata for making more money. He is proved to be totally two faced and we could not believe that he spoke something and did something totally opposite within a fortnight! On one hand the way he goes on praising dada and with the other he just stabs him. An in born actor who acts beyond camera also!

We remember SRK was saying in an interview last year that dada would be captain till he is 101 yrs old. The very next year he threw Sourav out from captaincy!

Sourav Ganguly being a national pride, iconic cricketer and an international ambassador of cricket, we feel that our national image has been tarnished with such obnoxious nexus between SRK and Buchanan. It is needless to say that cricket, the game of etiquette, and its fraternity both have been humiliated as well with this malicious ploy within KKR side.

Unless this kind of hilarious experimentation which is an affront of great degree towards the game is stopped with immediate effect, the very basic contour of dignity of the game will be fragile soon.

We hope the people of Kolkata and rest of Indian cricket fans this time react the way they should and totally boycott all KKR matches, Buchanan and specially SRK, his movies and endorsed products.

We feel the management of KKR have no scruples or morals. Sourav Ganguly is perhaps bound by contract and hence he is forced to keep quiet or rather continue play.
