Hubberston Fort Gelliswick Bay, has been named as one of the country’s most endangered archaeological sites.
It is one of 14 Palmerston forts along Pembrokeshire’s Coastline.
The Fort was built in the 1860s and once housed around 250 men in D-shaped bomb-proof barracks above a battery of 28 guns.
It must be preserved.
We call upon Milford Haven Port Authority & Pembrokeshire County Council to commit to finding sustainable & long term future for Hubberston Fort, and one which preserves the heritage of the site for generations to come.
