Cambridge Law Centre (CLC) as it is currently known, has been a feature on Mill Road, Cambridge for over 25 years, serving the most vulnerable members of the Community to lead a better quality of life by supplying free legal advice in welfare benefits, employment, debt, immigration and housing.
CLC is part of a larger organisation named Advice for Life, which has now gone into liquidation. However, the need for the local centre is greater than ever.
The advisors want to keep this service going and now need your help to start it up again as an independent body.
We, the undersigned, call upon our local MP, The Charities Commission, the Cambridge City Council, the Legal Services Commission and other supporters to reopen the Centre at 41 Mill Road so it may continue providing us, the most vulnerable members of your community, with the invaluable service it has for so many years.
