In September 2005, Pioneer Transporation took over the transportation of children in MS 101 and PS 304. Since September, there have been numerous complaints about the service provided by Pioneer.
In November, one of the buses was in an accident, dropped the injured children off at the school and drove away. The driver was later arrested for several offenses. Pioneer never reached out to the schools, the schools informed Pioneer of the accident.
Several of the children were sent to the hospital, since they were not wearing seat belts and were injured in the accident. This is unacceptable. We need safer transportation for our children.
We, the undersigned, petition for safer transportation for our children. We ask for the removal of Pioneer Buses from our schools.
