Just a cricket supporter of over 20 years.
South Africa have finally become a defining force in world cricket. Stunning results and matches over the last 5 years have ensured we are now number 1 test team in the world.
If you want us to stay as Number 1, and to climb the ladder to ODI and T20 glory, we REALLY REALLY need more games.
At the time of this petition, we have only 3 tests matches against Australia next year. Were are the ODI's, the T20's.
I believe that we as the public need to stand up and demand more. We understand players need a break, but from the game completely. This way none of the youngsters get any experience, and when the old guard retire, we will end up like Australia.
What do we get as supporters, not even a Cape Town test match this year.
Stand up people and demand that Cricket SA pull their finger out and get their schedule like it was a few years ago.
