Recently, Mel Gibson directed Hacksaw Ridge, an incredible portrayal of a WW2 medic Desmond Doss. I believe Mr. Gibson would do an amazing job portraying the acts of Staff Sergeant Roy Benavidez during the Vietnam war. Roy Benavidez recieved the medal of honor for his actions in what can only be described as an insane story and would almost seem fake if it weren't true. The man is an American hero and deserves to have his story portrayed for millions to see and remember the sacrifice that our brave men and women of the armed forces do to protect not only us at home, but each other. https://youtu.be/0B2w0abQazg
We, all in favor, call on Mr. Gibson, in light of his recent accomplishments in the storytelling of war hero Desmond Doss, to reenact, on film, the events that lead up to Staff Sergeant Roy Benavidez recieving the Medal of Honor.
