The movie, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," directed by Robert Zemeckis and based partly on a novel by Gary K. Wolf, was made in 1988. (Steven Spielberg was one of the executive producers.)
It is historical, in that it not only combines live-action and animation - and pulls it off brilliantly - but Disney and Warner Brothers BOTH have characters in the film. (Although Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse had to have the same amount of screentime.)
The title is without a question mark, because that is considered bad luck in the movie industry.
Although the movie was very succesful, there is no sequel. A prequel, was started, but Spielberg disliked the plot, which included a Nazi spy. The plot was changed, and the prequel began again. Then, due to budget problems and other complications - including the amount of time that had passed since the first movie - the project was apparently dropped.
We, the undersigned, call on Disney (and preferably Warner Brothers, as well) to create a prequel/sequel to, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," and swear that, if circumstances allow, we will go see the movie to help with the box-office gross, as well as for our own enjoyment.
