We are petitioning after conferring with the Cross Family; to have Rufus Cross Road renamed to commensurate the historic contributions of the Lee & Annel Jones Family.
Their tireless efforts in spiritual and financial growth has empowered more than just there family or community; the world is a better place and this is in honor of them.
We, the undersigned, call on the Emanuel County Board of Commissions to change the road named, Rufus Cross Road to "Cross-Jones Road".
