Roy C. Start High School is the only school in the Toledo Public School's area that offers Chinese.
Over the years enrollment has been steady and has been increasing, as years pass. However, the Toledo Public School Board is planning to cut Chinese, due to what they call "low enrollment" this,however, is not the litigating circumstance, upon which they are cancelling Chinese. "Low enrollment" isn't the factor, there is actually no factor at all, only enraged students and a isolated teacher is left.
This choice shows that students, as a whole, are widely ignored and by doing this it literally messes up the student's education and in the process the school has failed the students of an diverse education.
Please help us retain Chinese in Start High School.
