I would like petition against BA cabin crew being able to pick their dates for striking on already booked and paid for flights. Strikes should only be called on flight routes not yet open.
It is unfair that many people, often earning less than the cabin crew themselves, have worked hard and saved up to pay for flights to be put in jeopardy.
Furthermore, we should not stand for a few people further destroying a great British brand and their thoughtless effect on UK businesses and our economy.
By forcing them to declare strikes before routes open, this would allow the staff to have an impact but not to jeopardise our brand, economy and effect on general public who have booked genuine holidays.
We, the undersigned, call on the new UK Prime Minister to take hold of the BA cabin crew situation and stop them further damaging our fragile economy, businesses, brand and jeopardising the holidays of those who have genuinely saved to enjoy them.
