Our elected student body president has vehemently refused to require the dorm residents to park on the upper floors of the parking garage.
These students park their vehicles there for an extended period of time and it takes precious parking spaces for the other students who have to commute to and from campus, which in turn makes the commuters walk longer to get to class.
All we are asking is that the dorm students be required to use the upper two floors of the parking garage as long-term parking. If they fail to do so we ask the they be given a citation for failing to adhere to the rules and regulations.
Please require all Marshall University dorm residents to park on the upper floors of the parking garage.
