The Royal Style and Titles act, 1973 was created in 1973 by the then Whitlam Labor Australian Federal Government; and it was deliberately used as a 'tool' to alter the provisions of the Australian Constitution. In particular, it was created to substitute: -
''Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God Queen of Australia and Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth''
FOR
''Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of the God of the United Kingdom. Australia and her other Realms and Territories Queen. Head of the Commonwealth. Defender of the Faith''
as was provided in the Royal Style and Titles Act, 1953.
However, Section 128 of the Australian Constitution clearly states that the constitution can't be altered without the approval of the Australian electors; and as the necessary approval was not obtained by the Whitlam Government, the establishment of the Royal Style and Titles Act, 1973 is both: -
(1) a breach of the provisions of Section 128 of the Australian Constitution; and
(2) an act of treason;
and, as a result, the relevant act should be repealed.
We, the undersigned, state that the Royal Style and Titles Act,. 1973 contravenes the provisions of Section 128 of the Australian Constitution; and, as such, we request that the Australian Federal Government repeal the Royal Style and Titles Act, 1973.
