A lecturer who was involved in leaking the questions and answers for a Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) examination last week has been fired.
An SUSS spokesman confirmed that the university sent the lecturer an e-mail and a hard copy notice of termination of service yesterday .
"SUSS confirms that the associate faculty's service has been terminated with immediate effect because he was found to have released the questions and solutions during two extra revision classes he conducted," said the spokesman.
No details were given, including whether the leak was intentional.
This said lecturer should not be unfairly punished by help out students , being fired is overly harsh. Yes, he might have made a mistake of leaking the answers but he did it with good intentions. SUSS should reinstate this Lecturer who is only doing his part to help his students.
