On March 27, 2013, there was an incident involving a student who refused to go to the office when asked by the security guard to do so. The security guard grabbed the student and made the student walk to the office.
The security guard was then asked to leave the school and was subsequently relieved of his employment at Medway High school.
We the students and parents of the students at Medway High school would like Carl reinstated as the security guard at Medway. He was a huge asset to the school in that he cared for all the students, counselled them at times in a manner that helped to keep the peace amongst them and was very highly respected by the majority of students.
Carl's dismissal has come as a shock to all students at Medway and we would like to voice our concern as Medway students and parents and give our support to Carl in asking for his reinstatement.
