Wambugu Grove is a rough road connecting Parklands Road to the main Wambugu Road.
In the past there was access via Wambugu Lane. However, with the construction of the new lanes linking to the Thika flyover on Parklands road, residents of Wambugu cannot use Wambugu Lane to turn right and proceed to westlands, parklands and Highridge.
Wambugu road and lane have 2 community schools and one community recreational centre. There is also a commercial centre, petrol station and commercial bank in the vicinity. All these stakeholders are suffering quietly as they break their cars using no alternative bu the rough Wambugu Grove.
The road is severely dilapidated and in need of urgent rehabilitation.
A few concerned residents, citizens and parents have come together to take action and have Wambugu GROVE rehabilitated by any means possible. we are exploring options and lobbying the City Council And Kenya Urban Road Authority (KURA) to fix the problem.
