Current traffic rules at a junction which do not show all motorists the red light, whenever the pedestrian crossing is green.
This is too unsafe for elderly and children, who may cross too slow or too fast for motorists to react & stop in time.
Appeal to change the traffic rules for the safety of pedestrians (esp children and elderly):
1. When pedestrian crossing light is green (walking man), all other traffic along the roads covering the pedestrian crossing should be stopped (in red).
2. No heavy vehicles around the vicinity of school zones and in residential areas. Like in other countries, where heavy vehicles are only allowed on "ring roads" in the periphery (non-residential).
