Redress For All Victorians

Dear Mr Brumby I am writing this letter to you on behalf of all children of state ward, home child, or foster children of Victoria i notice that WA is acknowledge a redress and is taking application of compensation other states like Queensland and Tasmania have been compensated also and yet Victoria will take no blame of what happened to all children who were in all homes across Victoria we are all carrying scars from physical and mental abuse at the hands of these institutions i notice that the government has gave 7.2 million over 4 years to the department of human services for services to be provided tp children who were place in institutions as children were they were neglected and abused and were left without families to care for them they were sent out into the world usually aged around 16 years of age with no experience of life behind them and a lot of girls at the time who fell pregnant were forced to give there babies up for adoption as there was no money to care for the child all these children who were under institutions that were funded by the government need to be redress for compensation and an official apology from prime minister rudd wouldn't go astray most of these children who are now adults lost a lot from their lives.

A lot were separated from there families for years some never found there families again they need some justice and we are asking john brumby to take action on our behalf we want to be redressed and compensated they want us to go for compensation through the courts but why should we have to relive it all again a lot of women are getting older and may not be around to see justice done if you don't agree on what happened to children in homes and institutions in 1920s through to 1980s please sign the petition so we can get our point across to the government thank you member if C L A N
