Rebuild The Belvidere Foot Bridge

To whom it may concern,

It has recently come to my attention with the loss of my grandparents Carol and Ainsworth Scott "Involved members of the community" that many of our towns historical landmarks are leaving us too.

I think this would be a great idea and opportunity for the town to come together as well as create a beautiful recreation area for the community.

I would like to propose a plan to rebuild the walking bridge on Adams street across the Pequest river.

1. We can clean the portion of land along side the Pequest (race street side) from the Boy Scout Home to Hardwick street.

2. Construct and maintain walking paths,with a bench or two, trash and dog waste station and offer public access to the area.

3. Installing signs with a park name like "Pequest River Park".

Thus enforcing an after dark closing as well as other rules and fines such as littering.

Members of the community,the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, the FFA, Belvidere Highschool, all local businesses as well as surrounding townships are all possible prospects of the fundraising needed to complete this project.
