In the United States which I know and served for some forty years; I have witnessed a breakdown in the integrity of our culture and in our elected government.
We, the people, have been lied to, deceived and taken advantage of by the very folks in whom we have misplaced our trust. Any and all problems we have now or have had or will have, are directly attributable to at least just 545 individuals who constitute our elected and appointed government.
Under the provisions of the First Amendment to the Constitution of The United States of America; we the undersigned, Citizens of these United States, do petition the following:
The President of The United States The House of Representatives and the Senate of the United States; and the Supreme Court of the United States;
To reaffirm, by an Act of Congress, to be known as:
THE REAFFIRMATION OF AMERICA ACT
THAT: the government has as its primary and sole responsibility to serve well and faithfully the citizens and other lawful residents of the United States specifically as set forth in the Constitution of the United States.
This petition is served for at least the following reasons:
WHEREAS; the elected officials of the United States have, over the past Two Hundred Thirty three years, effectively and onerously, intentionally or otherwise, abrogated the rights of the people and have arrogated to the government, and to themselves, rights, privileges and emoluments in excess compared to services rendered,
AND
Whereas; these selfsame government officials wantonly and without due diligence, allow their contemporaries to commit acts detrimental to the best interests of the United States,
AND
WHEREAS; far too many elected and appointed officials comport themselves in an arrogant, haughty and offensive manner, without apparent regard to the consequences at home and abroad,
AND
WHEREAS; our elected government has abandoned, seemingly rejected and has pursued or nurtured causes and activities counter to the Christian Heritage upon which this great nation was founded, flourished and created the model which is the envy of Freedom lovers across the globe,
AND
WHEREAS; the government, now in place, is acting counter to the wishes of the governed, We, The People, rightfully, legally and in good conscience seek redress in the form of the reaffirmation noted above.
