The Lake Munmorah post office has recently closed, leaving a couple of thousand residents without an essential service. An agent has been set up in the local newsagent at Munmorah shopping centre, however services are extremely limited and there is no parcel service available at all. The nearest post office is now 20min away at Mannering Park. This is simply not good enough and needs to be rectified sooner rather than later. I am pushing for parcel lockers to be installed at Munmorah for the collection of parcels and other mail items that can't be delivered to the recipients address.
We, the undersigned, call on Australia Post to fully reinstate the postal service at Lake Munmorah NSW, and / or install parcel lockers at said location for the secure delivery of mail items.
