Riverina Citrus is in crisis. Fruit rots on the ground as the market is flooded by cheap Brazilian concentrates. Not only are these concentrates processed using poisonous products they have destroyed our local market because of their cheap price and over availability.
We would like to see tariffs re-introduced to protect Riverina citrus and the banning of the use of Brazilian concentrates to help have our industry from ruin.

We the undersigned Electors, the Highest Authority in The Commonwealth, petition and direct all Elected Members and Representatives to implement appropriate steps to ensure our health, and prosperity for Australian citrus, other agriculture and manufacturing industries including:-
1. An immediate ban on poisonous Brazilian concentrate.
2. The application of selective tariffs to citrus products, and other agriculture and manufacturing.
