The Town of Loxahatchee Groves has decided to lower the speed limit on Okeechobee Road to 30 MPH in order to maintain the "rural feel" of the community. Hampering the only route for some people in and out of the Acreage is not helping to maintain anything. Reducing the speed limit will only frustrate drivers and extend travel time.
We, the undersigned, call on the Town of Loxahatchee Groves to reconsider the 30 MPH speed limit on Okeechobee Road and reinstate the 45 MPH speed limit.
