The purpose of this petition is to demand that children stay in foster care until age 21 when they have matured a lot more and have a much better opportunity at achieving a degree.
We also petition for 18-21 yr. old foster teens and young adults to be taught job skills, drug prevention, and planned parenthood.

high school diploma: (Natl)
bachelor's: 2%
become a parent: 84%
were unemployed: 51%
no health insurance: 30%
been homeless (street kid) 25%
receiving public "asst" 30%
Children, all children are the future, all children need to be protected. Most 18yr. olds are not ready to face the world, especially being completely alone (and many times their company are not the best role models, and many join gangs, I lived in LA, I saw this CONSTANTLY).....
Most foster children are non-white children, keeping those communities in even more despair. In layman's term, the foster system is racist.
We ask you kindly, to please raise the age to 21 along with providing job skills, planned parenthood, and drug prevention programs to foster teens and young foster adults.
