In August 2012, Derick "Fly Ty" Jacobs show was cancelled from My92.7. The station then switch frequencies to 105.3 Old School but did not put Fly Ty's show back on the air.
Fly Ty was a very talented, hiliarius radio host. He was passionate about his listener and his listeners loved him. Fly Ty is someone we call the life of the party. He could make a person feel good about themselves. His show was airing on My92.7 Charlotte from 10 to 3pm Monday-Friday. If you need to hear good music and some good laughs, we tuned in to Fly Ty in the mid-day.
Fly Ty is an awesome host and brings people to where ever he goes.
