In light of recent events it is clear that a change needs to be made in traffic control on Hollybrook Road in Snellville. With the amount of children at Brookwood Elementary, Brookwood High school and drivers on this stretch of road, particularly during the beginning and ending hours of school this has became an unsafe area in our community.
While this may not be the only change that needs to be made, adding a light at Hollybrook Road and Dogwood Road will help to relieve congestion and deter drivers from wanting to turn around in unsafe places.
We, the undersigned, call on the Department of Transportation of Gwinnett County to put a stoplight at the intersection of Hollybrook Road and Dogwood Road.
