Barry O'Farrell has announced his intention to change State Law so that Sydney City venues will be forced to close at 3am, and have a 1:30am area wide lockout.
This is a law that punishes the good behaviour of the majority for the poor behaviour of a few.
We, the undersigned, ask that your proposed law changes in relation to "Alcohol Related Violence" be scrapped and replaced with better law enforcement, and more stringent punishment for individuals who commit violent crime in or around Sydney's venues and licensed premises.
The removal of the freedoms and rights of the majority is not how you tackle an issue of this kind.
