Without any consultation with the users of the current dog park in Forest Lake, Queensland our local councillor, Angela Owen-Taylor, is closing the park and moving the dog park to an unsuitable site and not providing a divided park so that small dogs can play in one area while the large dogs can play in a separate area.
It is too dangerous to have only the one park fits all sizes, therefore I am petitioning both Brisbane City Council and Cr Angela Owen-Taylor to make adjustments to the new dog park to accommodate all dogs safely with adequately or provide a small dog park only within Forest Lake.
We, the undersigned, petition both the Brisbane City Council and the local councillor, Angela Owen-Taylor, to provide a stand alone SMALL DOG PARK within the Forest Lake suburb or to improve the 'new' dog park to have separate areas for big and small dogs and adequate car parking including disable parking.
