Recent months have seen an upswing of transgender-related violations of free speech, threats of violence, and incidents of actual violence.
This wave of violence started after the U.S. Department of Education issued a proposed regulation in June, 2022 that would redefine “sex” to include “gender identity.”

On April 6, former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines gave a well-attended speech at San Francisco State University opposing the participation of biological males in female sports.
Afterwards, a group of transgender activists began to chant, “Trans rights are human rights.” They chased Gaines down a hallway, hitting her on the head, and forcing her to seek safety in a room. Gaines was held hostage for three hours. To secure her release, the activists demanded that Gaines pay each of them a $10 “ransom.”
Gaines later revealed, “I feared for my life in that moment.”
THIS WAS NOT A ONE-TIME INCIDENT.
The most devastating example of transgender violence happened on March 27, when Audrey Hale rushed into Covenant School in Nashville and fired 152 shots, killing three staff members and three students.
Despite public outrage over the Nashville attack, the Trans Radical Activist Network planned to hold a “Trans Day of Vengeance” just five days later. The Day of Vengeance was then cancelled after Twitter deleted 5,000 tweets about the event, explaining, “We do not support tweets that incite violence, irrespective of who posts them.”
These are not the only incidents. Over the past year, transgenders have engaged in numerous incidents of threats of violence and actual violence, many of which have been downplayed or covered-up by the mainstream media.
This wave of transgender violence started after the U.S. Department of Education issued a proposed regulation that would redefine “sex” to include “gender identity.” This served to increase the aggressiveness of confrontations by transgender activists.
