Proclaiming America's Call for Equality

We, the founding members of PACE, hereby ask for your support in word and deed, to adopt the PACE, Inc. organization proclamation, by signing our petition. Your signature signifies your unwavering commitment and belief to our proclamation below:

WHEREAS, Obtaining the reality of “equality under the law” for all men and women has been a long and painful journey: and

WHEREAS, The mission of PACE is to Proclaim America’s Call for Equality:

NOW, THEREFORE, we the founding members of PACE, hereby issue this proclamation of Equality that:
• All men and women are created Equal under the law
• We agree with Abraham Lincoln’s interpretation of the intent of the declaration
• We, as individuals, acknowledge that no race, color, or nationality is superior to another
• We, as business and community leaders commit to take an active role in promoting equal opportunity in our companies, in our industries, in our churches and in our communities
• We agree that there is no place in our families, our communities, our business nor in our country for hatred, bigotry, or prejudices
• We agree, with the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, that one day he hoped his four little children would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by content of their character.
• We agree that we must be intentional to determine the steps required of each of us to truly obtain a nation where:
All men, women and children of all color, ethnic origin or nationality can truly enjoy the American promise of Equality for all. (Religion)
