According to Traffic Safety Facts in 2007 an estimated 12 998 people were killed in alcohol impaired driving crashes.
Top percentage is related to bars, pool halls, and restaurants over night hours.
We, The City College of Technology group of students, are expresing our concern and a need for urgent action in relation to driving intoxicated after drinking alcohol in bars or other entertainment businesses with permission to sale alcohol.
It is of our concern that you must enforced the Public Commerces to keep the car keys of every intoxicated person ewho is unable to drive in New York State.
Although selling alcohol to intoxicated people is already a violation, at least employees of bar, clubs, and restaurants must keep the car keys to prevent tragedies.
