PRESERVE THIS IRREPLACEABLE LEGACY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS!

Value to the Community by the numbers:
1 Agri-tourism Farm with over 8,000 visitors each fall
2 Farms listed on the National Register of Historic Places
2 Miles of the most ecologically diverse riparian river corridor in all of Colorado
198 acres of safe, uninterrupted Poudre Learning Center for over 30,000 visitors per year
1,000 acres of open space buffer between Windsor and Greeley and
1 IRREPLACEABLE LEGACY TO LEAVE FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS

The value to the Communities of Greeley, Evans, Windsor, Severance and beyond of leaving the two mile stretch between County Roads 27 and 23 as open space is listed above.

The O Street/Crossroads Boulevard Extension would extend O Street west from 83rd Avenue (County Road 27) to County Road 23. This 140 foot wide, four lane highway will destroy historic farms and open space to be used for educational activities for children.

Please help us convince our public officials to consider other alternatives. Leave this area as open space to make it perpetually available for future generations!

To Mayor John Gates, Greeley City Council Members and Weld County Commissioners:

We, the undersigned, strongly oppose the extension of O Street west from 83rd Avenue to County Road 23.

We urge our representatives and elected officials to consider other alternatives and remove this two mile extension proposal from all City of Greeley and Weld County transportation planning documents.
