I reside in Baltimore county. I have been a resident for five years. My location is along Essex road. There are schools and apartments as well as homes in this area. It's very complicated to get to shopping, appointments or even jobs because there are no bus stops for miles.
The closest bus stop is on Woodlawn dr. and that means walking up Essex and then walking down Windsor mill Blvd. Where the traffic is busy and there are barely any sidewalks (this is the same throughout the county). This is dangerous because its hard for a family to travel together. Please help us all equally travel comfortably and safely.
This petition is being put into action to better our lively hood. We, the undersigned, call on the State of Maryland Transportation Authority to place bus stops along the Essex and St. Lukes roads of northwest Baltimore county.
