For 3 years the Road commission has thrown tar in the ruts and holes on Pine Island Drive Between 10 mile and 12 mile roads.
This has not even been a quick fix because the tar pops right out as soon as it is driven over by a large truck.
Kent County Road Commission Has repaved Pine Island up to 10 mile and 12 mile to 17 mile in the last 3 years but they conveniently leave the 2 mile stretch from 10 to 12 mile undone.
Not only have I had 2 tire blow outs this year many others have had same if not worse problems. We have continuously called and complained with no avail. With the winter being as bad as it has been this year our road is twice as bad as last year.
We are demanding that this year we have this section of Pine Island repaved as soon as possible.
We, the undersigned, call on Kent County Road Commission to Resurface Pine Island Drive from 10 mile to 12 mile in Algoma Township During the Spring or Summer of 2008.
