Plankey Mill in Northumberland, which is surrounded by ancient woodland owned by the National Trust, has beautiful walks alongside the River Allen.
The general public have enjoyed access to parking at Plankey Mill, where families have enjoyed picnics and paddles in the river for over half a century.
Unfortunately, the land agents, Stanton Mortimer, have recently ordered the farmer to stop all public parking at Plankey Mill. Parking is still available at Allen Banks; however this prevents those with disabilities, young children or those with medical conditions from enjoying access to this beautiful area.
Please help to reverse this decision by signing our petition.
