South Africa is the only country in world rugby that has political interference in terms of influence on team selections based on race. It is against the rules of the IRB that any team be selected based on this condition.
We would like to see the IRB either enforce this rule on the Springboks and other teams in South Africa or preclude them from participation in any IRB sanctioned matches.
We, the undersigned, call on the IRB to enforce their rules and regulations in the matter of racially selected teams.
We ask that racial quotas be removed and that selections be based on merit.
