For over 10 years, the local community has enjoyed playing badminton at South Bank TAFE. The badminton courts have been a central place for exercise, social connection, and recreation for players of all ages, including families and long-term members.

Recently, management decided to renovate the courts but not to draw the badminton court lines after renovations. This decision will make it difficult or impossible to play badminton, impacting the health, well-being, and community engagement of all regular users.

We believe that reinstating the court lines is a small action that will have a big positive impact on the community, allowing decades of badminton tradition to continue.

We respectfully request that the management reconsider and restore the badminton court lines.

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that TAFE South Bank management consider reinstating the badminton court lines following the renovations. The removal of the lines affects the community, many of whom have enjoyed playing badminton at these courts for over 10 years.
Restoring the lines would:
Support community health and well-being by providing a safe space for regular physical activity.

Maintain a long-standing recreational tradition, allowing players of all ages to continue participating in badminton.

Encourage social connection and inclusivity, as the courts bring together families, friends, and local residents.

Maximise use of the renovated facility, ensuring the investment benefits the community fully.

We kindly ask that management restore the lines so the community can continue to enjoy this valued recreational activity.
