Petition to Recall the U.S Ambassador to Russia

To advance the U.S position that Russia's unprovoked war on Ukraine has severe consequences and hinders our ability to maintain trustworthy diplomatic relations with Russia.
This is standard procedure between nations when gregarious behavior occurs and/or national outrage has been provoked. Russia certainly has met both standards.
It is inappropriate for the United States to maintain ordinary relations with a pariah state that openly kills civilians in an unprovoked war.
Russia have violated the Geneva Convention, the United Nations norms on Human Rights, broken its word on multiple occasions in regards to its intentions, committed war crimes in Ukraine, and used mercenaries from Chechnya known for their cruelty and inhumanity in urban warfare.
The sanctions have not been effective because China and India have not participated in those sanctions. Russia has petroleum-based revenue still coming in from Europe and the United States as well as Asia. There is more than sufficient financial resources for Russia to fund their military campaign in Ukraine and beyond if they chose. Increasing diplomatic pressure to further isolate Russia is a logical and even necessary step.
