Petition to limit hours of operation of Eddie's Pool Hall

In 1997, the owner of the roadfront property located in the Shell Acres Subdivision requested a permit to build a neighborhood pool hall.

At the time of the request, we the members of Shell Acres opposed the request. We were then told that the pool hall would be a quiet family place where children would be welcomed. As such, the pool hall was built. For the next few years, there was little if any pron;ems with the pool hall. It did indeed operate as a fa,ily gathering place. However, since that time, the pool hall has come under new ownership.

Under the current owners, there has been many changes. In the last year, neighbors have called the Shrieff's Department registers a variety of complaints. Those complaints include; Loud noises from music and vehicles, vehicles driving through neoghbor's yards, trash in neighboroing yards,unwanted vehicles parking in neighboring yards and finally, the above mentioned activities occurring into the early hours of the morning.
