Dear Speaker Boehner and Leader McConnell,
President Obama’s jobs plan would put millions of Americans back to work–unless you hold those jobs hostage.
Ending Medicare as we know it and privatizing Social Security would hurt America. And so did the effort by members of your caucuses to demand those things in ORDER TO PREVENT THE U.S. FROM DEFAULTING ON ITS OBLIGATIONS.
We need jobs, not more hostage-taking. And we won’t stand for another effort to block progress unless you get your way on Medicare and Social Security.
If you don’t agree with the President, propose a plan that will actually create real jobs. But we won’t let you hold these jobs hostage.

Stop political witch hunts & get to work!
When John Boehner first became Speaker of the House, he shed tears of joy. Every since that day, the American people have shed nothing but tears of pain. While our economy sits in shambles, Boehner has done nothing for the American people. He has only continued in engaging in partisan politics and politically motivated witch hunts. The President has proposed a jobs initiative and a plan to keep student loan rates low, but Speaker Boehner has decided to engage in a political witch hunt of Attorney General Eric Holder, instead of working towards putting more Americans to work or protecting students from crushing student loan rates. There are roughly 137 days left until the Presidential Election of 2012 and the Speaker of the House has scheduled only 30 of those days to work. It's time that the American people demand this "Do Nothing Congress" to DO SOMETHING! End the political witch hunts and get to work! Show that you love your country more than you hate the president Mr. Speaker!
