The Citizens Group is a non-profit corporation formed by Park Ridge residents to ensure that the Borough of Park Ridge complies with its immediate and long-term constitutional affordable housing obligation in a responsible manner, through sustainable growth, while maintaining diversity and balance among corporate, retail and residential housing needs within the community of Park Ridge.
The Citizens Group has filed a motion to intervene in a proceeding filed by the Borough of Park Ridge to obtain a judicial determination of Park Ridge’s affordable housing obligation.
If we don’t take action now, the result of the proceeding may have a substantial, negative impact on the community and infrastructure of Park Ridge for years to come, including the potential redevelopment of the Sony campus into hundreds of apartments and an unprecedented influx of hundreds of new residents into Park Ridge.
