The Town of Discovery Bay now has a unique opportunity to fulfill a promise made long ago to the youth of Discovery Bay...to provide a youth skate park at the Discovery Bay Community Center.
Discovery Bay is seriously lacking in activities for youth ages 8-15. A skate park would provide a healthy outdoor activity for this age group, in a safe environment for young people to congregate.
Now that a community center exists, this is the time to act. Several community groups and individuals are ready to commit thousands of dollars to the skate park construction.
Sign this petition to let the CSD Directors know that a skate park is important to you! All signatures are welcome, youth in particular. Let them know this is something you care about.
We, the undersigned residents of Discovery Bay, call on the Discovery Bay Community Services District to immediately approve the development of a permanent Discovery Bay skate park.
