Penhold Mail Boxes: provide superboxes for local mail delivery

The town of Penhold has been experiencing significant residential growth since 2008. Although the town states on its website that The Town of Penhold’s Municipal Development Plan is a guide for future growth and development to ensure that it is sustainable, orderly, appropriate, complementary, efficient, and enhances the quality of life for all citizens of Penhold" it seems they have overlooked the basic necessity of postal service.

The small post office in Penhold has a very limited number of boxes available for residents, which has created an extensive waiting list that only gets worse as the town's population grows. As a result residents are expected to receive their mail by general delivery. However with most residents commuting out of town for work, the short business hours of the post office make it difficult to access general delivery services.

Unfortunately with no postal service conveniently available for the residents of Penhold this petition would argue that as a result of growth and lack of development the quality of life for Penhold residents is being compromised.
