There are innocent school children who have to cross this road 5/7 days a week to get to and from school.
This busy main road often has many speeding & careless drivers who put residents & children's lives in danger when they do so.
These crossings will not STOP these careless, selfish drivers but will at least help to stop the majority and force them to drive carefully and at the speed limit knowing that those crossings are there.
Having these crossings will help to ensure the safety of the local school children & residents when crossing the busy main roads and will hopefully save lives as too many people have been hit by speeding cars simply because selfish, careless drivers refuse to slow down.
Please help to get our pedestrian crossings for the safety of the school children & local residents.
Too many people have been killed or seriously injured due to the carelessness of speeding drivers. These crossings will at least help to prevent local residents and innocent school children from being hit by these careless drivers.
